We are sad to report the passing of Norman F.H. Cusack, who we are told, died very recently aged 87 years old.

He was a member of Sefton Park C.C.  and a spin bowler. He also played regular Sunday cricket for The Liverpool Pirates, and mid-week for The Northern Nomads for whom he was also Fixtures Secretary; he stood as an Umpire for them in later years.

In those later years Norman would appear infrequently at many Liverpool & District grounds, he was a character and keen follower of the game with decided opinions on Test Players from all countries. He was well read and an interesting conversationalist who will be sadly missed by those of his era who remain.

The funeral is on Thursday 16th January at 12.15pm at Springwood Crematorium.
